Our fowl editor Clair Willden has spent over 100 hours writing and compiling every possible choice a person could make if they suddenly felt compelled to lead a new, up-and-coming cult.
Start a religion. See visions of the future. Fight the fairy king for their throne. Start the apocalypse. All of these stories and more await you as you try to start and establish a successful cult in Cult Game! Play or download here. You are the Swiss Messenger.
You are dressed all in black. You have shiny buttons and a mustache--your own or another’s. In this game, you and any number of fellow players will narrate the story of a Messenger who faces a series of obstacles in order to deliver a fateful letter. Download here.
You are ordinary accountant Wynona Fitzgerald. Explore Milwaukee. Touch a poisonous frog. Date your coworkers. Remake the world in your image, as though you were a god.
This is an adventure game we made in Twine, and which we're hosting on itch.io, an indie games website. Click through to play! When you launch the game, it'll open in full screen. Wynona Fitzgerald saves your progress, so don't even think about taking back your decisions. Once you've reached an ending you can return to the beginning, but not a moment sooner!
Edgar Sluice owes you 100 gold pieces. He feels so bad about it (really!) that he told you he was going to go directly to his stash in the sewers and get it for you--yesterday. Well, he's not back yet and, as a matter of fact, no one's seen him since yesterday morning. Time to go track Edgar down.
Edgar Sluice's Horrid Quest is a one-page rpg for D&D 5th Edition where 3-5 players will risk everything by falling into a sewer, arguing with an enchanted rat, and fighting a deeply unpleasant ghost in a grand journey to gain one hundred gold pieces and--perhaps--earn the friendship of a tunnel-dwelling scammer whose fashion sense hasn't advanced an inch since the 1310s.
